INSIDE THE SOCKET
The highly finished steel ball surface and engeering plastic bearing together with the high cost MoS2 grease lubricant reduce almost 60% of internal friction in a traditional steel-on-steel ball joint.
OUTSIDE THE SOCKET
chose a super crack-resistant rebber material for it's dust boots to ensure long term prottection against contaminants. Besides. an internal bonded metal ring in the rubberr bootss eliminate any possibility of momentary contamination of the stud during performance.

Instead of traditional steel-on-steel socket, latest low-friction technology has been used in our Rack ends manufacturing.
A specially formulated and processed high-strength, high-abrasion-resistant engeering plastic bearing is one of the key factors of better durability.

Traditional and New idea about friction
Traditional design of steering parts was based on a concept of "Tightness". Wear is accelerated by higher friction as a result of tightness.
Early in 1980's a new design of low-friction has been introduced for the manufactureing of steering parts by engineers of vehicle industry.
Low-friction makes Ball Joints & Tie Rod Ends acts more smoothly, sensitively and precisely.These kinds of qualities provide better steering feel, precise steering control and longer durability.
